ABOUT KRISTA
I bring over 25 years of Artist and Arts Nonprofit Fundraising, Programmatic Planning, and Strategic Planning experience to my clients, having previously served as the Director of Development for Fresh Meat Productions, Queer Cultural Center, and Frameline.

Since founding the GalSmithery, I have supported my clients to raise over $30,000,000 while providing webinars, coaching services and proposals reviews to hundreds of artists and arts organizations.
I view the arts as a foundational element to creating social change and cultural equity. Between 2000 to 2020 I produced and performed in hundreds of queer cultural events as Kentucky Fried Woman.
My writing has been published in several anthologies including Queer Appalachia, Glitter & Grit, Femmes of Power, and the Register of Kentucky History.
